Three outstanding new books in the history of science and religion will be presented. They include Peter Harrison’s Territories of Science and Religion (Chicago, 2014); Matthew Stanley’s Huxley’s Church and Maxwell’s Demon: From Theistic Science to Naturalistic Science (Chicago, 2014); and Roger Wagner and Andrew Briggs’ Penultimate Curiosity: How Science Swims in the Slipstream of Ultimate Questions (Oxford, 2016). Harrison and Stanley will both be present to discuss their books.
